Operational Guidelines
Hours of Operation & Eligibility
Our care hours are designed to support your professional and academic success. We are open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We accept all fundings and subsidies to accommodate your child care needs.
- Example: If your schedule is 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, your child’s eligible hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Open Communication
We believe in a true partnership. Our teachers are encouraged to learn what matters most to you as a parent, integrating your insights into our daily group programming.
We use Brightwheel to communicate on a daily basis with our parents.
Messy Exploration (Clothing)
Learning is a hands-on experience! While we use washable materials, some creative play can be “messy.” We recommend clothing that allows your child to explore freely without worry.
Health, Safety &
Medical Care
Medical Compliance
In compliance with The Department of Human Services Regulations for Child Care we require a current health assessment and immunization records every year.
Emergency & Injury Protocol
Safety is our priority. Staff members are trained to administer basic First Aid for minor incidents. In the event of an injury requiring medical attention, we contact parents immediately and will engage Emergency Services if necessary.
Holistic Nutrition
We encourage children to explore a variety of wholesome foods in a supportive environment. Following our “no-force” policy, we ensure every child receives their full nutritional requirements without ever withholding food.
Positive Behavior GuidancePhilosophy
Focusing on self-discipline and emotional maturity.
Our Preferred Practices
(Positive Reinforcement)
Redirection
Using verbal and gestural reinforcement to guide children toward appropriate play.
Gentle Assistance
Providing one clear verbal request followed by physical guidance to ensure understanding.
Habituating Skills
Teaching and practicing preferred behaviors to help children develop lifelong self-discipline.
Empowered Choices
Offering age-appropriate choices to foster independence.
